BTS 🎥 What a wonderful day I had yesterday modelling @charlottetilbury and it was great to see so many of the familiar faces from all the CT campaign shoots we did together over the last years. CT always has a special place in my heart. I will never forget my first shoot with them - The Supermodel Brow Campaign 4 years ago because it was my very first job back into modelling after decades⭐️ Not only do I love the company and their products, I love their ethos. They were the first to make ALL women feel uniquely beautiful. A message close to my heart. On the bus today I saw a beautiful girl sitting on a wheelchair and next to her sat her mother and younger brother. In entered another mom struggling with a crying baby in the pram and a toddler. We all began offering our seats to her so that she could try to settle the children without too much of a fuss. The baby was crying and nothing would soothe him at that particular moment except the young girl whose eyes met with his beaming with happiness as she made quirky smiles to try to connect and calm him down. She succeeded and the baby began to coo and smile and you could see the fulfilment the young girl felt. The mothers exchanged eye contact, smiled then laughed and spoke with their eyes the language that mothers speak united by their acceptance of the immense joy and struggles that are all a part of motherhood. Just the wonder of watching these children connect their mothers was priceless and made me think of our everyday interactions with people and human bonding. Children are innocent and don’t hate, are free from judgement, don’t know what racism is nor do they adhere to cultural differences. They are free, full of love and curiosity. I thought there are so many good people in this world, but if only adults could mirror the innocence and kindness of these children what a wonderful world we would inhabit. Here’s to dreaming💕 Love and Light Shot in NY in the 80s:)

This was my first modelling job with Beatrice Agency in Milan. It was a catalogue assignment that lasted one whole month in the Canary Islands during the summer of 1984. The editor worked me from sunrise to sunset everyday, but that’s where I learned how to model and it was a great experience just starting out. I started my modelling career at 21 which was very old at the time, but grateful I did because I was more mature and a bit more sensible! ❤️ and Light
